I know this is probably a contradiction to the ceramics project section of my website but this section is more for two dimensional art such as paintings and drawings in pastel and charcoal. I hope no one is offended by the drawings or paintings I have here. Many of the sketches in my gallery are from nude models and thus are a study into the human figure. As always I look for feedback from all who visit my site. It helps me focus on what I need to work on and it's always good for the soul to know someone appreciates what I've created. Paintings - This is another love of mine although I don't consider myself a true painter. I love working in the medium and believe I've done a couple of good works but as far as someone who can really excel at painting, I'm probably to impatient. But none the less I do it from time to time and really enjoy the different mediums like acrylics and watercolors. I will post on the painting page my latest work and hopefully someone will get the bug like I do from time to time.

Charcoal/Pastels - This is probably the most spotaneous of the art forms I have practiced to date. What I mean by that statement is the fact that there's not a whole lot of room for error so you need to be very confident in your stokes and not be nervous about making mistakes. You should just let it go and let your feelings come through. I notice that when I allow this to happen things turn out much more impressive. This is the section that has some nude modeling representation so please consider yourself warned.

Sketching - This is without doubt the most primal of instincts that everyone has. From childhood we all love to sketch in one form or another. I however use it in a multitude of ways to accomplish simple or complex tasks or problems. I know that probably doesn't sound like art but if you notice throughout my website you'll see drawing and sketches of ideas or concepts, without these I wouldn't be able to visualize my goal.
