This section of my website deals with the pottery, sculptures and tiles which are the end results of my working with clay. Most of the stuff I have up now has been completed while attending college and still going through my initial learning phase. Which if you think about it is a a bad way of saying that because I will always consider myself as learning. Anyway, I have since learned a great deal from watching others on the Internet and taking their teachings, applying them in real life and practicing. I will continue to post in these pages both bisqued and glazed to show how much an object can change when you add a simple thin surface covering or a texture. Which is why ceramics is so fullfilling to me. I will also post some pictures with the permission of the artist to show what has inspired me to create what I've done. You may also notice that I sometimes use things that are not conventional to the pottery or ceramic world. Take for instance the sculpture on the left that looks like it changes color. That is not something that can normally be done with a ceramic glaze or lighting of any kind. I will however from time to time employ certain practices that I've learned over the years to complete a project with a certain look. To learn more about what I did please go to my Sculptures page and read about this interesting piece of work. To give you a little more insight to the sections I'll give a brief outline here.

"Sculpture" will contain all objects used as decorational or conversation pieces. It will however also have some pottery or functional looking pieces that have been fired raku style and can not be used as functional pottery. There are so many different ways to fire a piece of art that I will make sure to tell you how it was fired and whether or not it can be used as functional pottery.
"Tile" work will eventually become an entire section on its own due to the fact that it can be used in so many different ways. From tile work on counters to inlaid work in showers and even mosaic art there are too many ways to list them all here. So, keep checking from time to time in the tile section to see what has been happening there.

"Functional" pottery to me deals with the most basic of items one might aquire pertaining to pottery. Cups, bowls, plates and just about anything that has an ability to be used in one form or another. I will also provide some of my stuff for sale when I build up a decent inventory.
